Andy Murray: 'I need a few days off after final'

Andy Murray says that he needs to take a short break from tennis to recover from a gruelling final.

Defeated Wimbledon finalist Andy Murray has revealed that he needs to take a short break from tennis to recover from a gruelling final.

Murray said that his body is suffering from falls and that his mind is not right to step back on to a tennis court just yet.

"Until my mind is right there's no point in going on the court until I'm ready to go out there," Murray said.

"I'll wait and see how my body recovers after the next few days. I fell a lot of times this tournament. I got a lot of bruises all over my body."

"So I need to take a few days off, let everything heal, recover, and then see. I won't be on the court next week, that's for sure."

Murray hailed his opponent Roger Federer in the wake of his four-set defeat.
