Mardy Fish defeated David Goffin 6-3 7-6 7-6 to head into the fourth round of Wimbledon.
The first set began evenly with both holding serve until Fish finally broke the Belgian to make it 2-4. Goffin couldn't recover from thereonin and Fish claimed the set 6-3.
The second set was a tight affair, with neither giving anything away. A tie break was needed to separate the two and it was the American who came out on top, winning 8-6.
Both Fish and Goffin held serve again in the third set, forcing it to a tiebreak which Fish won again 8-6.
