Juventus coach Antonio Conte has leapt to the defence of Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner by insisting that he made a good impression at the club.
The Dane spent last season on loan at the Serie A champions but failed to find the back of the net in any of his 11 appearances before his campaign was cut short due to injury.
The Turin outfit opted against making his spell a permanent one, but Conte is adamant that Bendtner is not a negative influence.
"I have only good things to say about Bendtner," Conte told reporters. "He came to the club and after a difficult first period, he started.
"Then he had the misfortune to be injured and he was out for three months. Then when he did come back, he got injured again.
"Bendtner left a good impression on everyone at Juventus. Some call him a bad boy, but that is not the impression he left with us."
Bendtner is currently working on his fitness, having failed to secure a move away from Arsenal during the summer.
