Arsenal will reportedly attempt to move Alexandre Lacazette on next summer and hope to raise around £40m by sanctioning the French forward's exit.
The 29-year-old only has little over 18 months left to run on his contract at the Emirates Stadium, and it is unclear whether he is part of Mikel Arteta's long-term plans at the club.
The striker has managed three goals in seven Premier League appearances this season, while he has netted 51 times in 136 outings for the club in all competitions since arriving from Lyon.
Lacazette was linked with a move away from the Gunners during the recent transfer window, though, and according to the Daily Star, he will be available next summer.
The report claims that Arsenal hope to raise around £40m by selling the former Lyon youngster, with the money then becoming available to Arteta to spend on new players.
Lacazette is currently on a run of four Premier League matches without a goal and has not actually scored in the league since the end of September.
