Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could rival Barcelona for the signature of RB Leipzig defender Angelino, according to a report.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to rival Barcelona for the signature of RB Leipzig defender Angelino during this summer's transfer window.

The 25-year-old has been in impressive form for his German club during the 2021-22 campaign, making 29 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal and eight assists in the process.

A recent report claimed that Barcelona were keen on the left-back, with Leipzig thought to be open to selling him for a fee in the region of €30m (£25m).

However, according to Calciomercato, Arsenal and Spurs are also keen to sign the former Manchester City defender ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

The former Spain Under-21s international has scored 10 times and registered 24 assists in 84 appearances for the Red Bulls in all competitions.

Angelino made 15 appearances for Man City during two separate spells at the club but just six of those outings came in the Premier League.
