Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate.
The Reds are widely expected to bring a new centre-back to the club during the January transfer window, having lost both Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez to long-term knee injuries.
Jurgen Klopp's side have been strongly linked with Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano, but according to Bild, the Frenchman's teammate Konate is also being considered.
The 21-year-old would allegedly cost significantly less than Upamecano, although the Premier League champions could face firm competition from Arsenal, who are also said to be interested in signing the France Under-21 international at the start of 2021.
Konate has made 83 appearances for Leipzig since joining the Bundesliga club in 2017 and has a contract at the Red Bull Arena until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
Liverpool are also reportedly keeping a close eye on Wolverhampton Wanderers duo Ruben Neves and Fabio Silva ahead of potential future approaches.
