Arsenal are reportedly planning to revive their interest in Manchester City defender Micah Richards.
The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is looking to bolster his defensive options before the transfer window closes and has identified Richards as an ideal addition to his squad, according to The Mirror.
Richards has two years left on his current deal and is yet to sign the latest contract offer from City, as he waits to see if he will feature prominently under new boss Manuel Pellegrini.
Wenger is also looking to add an attacking player to his squad before September 2, with a recent report claiming that the club have been told by Swansea City that Michu is available for £25m.
