Atletico Madrid have made an offer for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, according to the Argentine's agent.
Wanda Nara, who is the agent and also the wife of the Inter captain, has revealed that there is an offer on the table for the striker, but a move is unlikely due to his happiness at San Siro.
"Atletico have made an offer for Icardi, but his departure is difficult. He wants to stay at Inter. He's the captain, he's very happy and we renewed his contract last year," Nara told Infama. "There are many offers [for Icardi] and I've spoken to all the directors [of these clubs].
"There's no doubt Mauro and Cholo [Simeone] have spoken and crossed paths a few times, the last time on an aeroplane, but they didn't about football. He'll almost certainly will not leave Inter, where he's very happy."
Icardi, who scored 17 Serie A goals for Inter last season, has also been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League.
