Carlos Puyol could reportedly become Barcelona's assistant manager next season if Celta Vigo boss Luis Enrique takes charge of the Catalan outfit.
Despite having spent less than one year at the helm, Gerardo Martino is widely expected to leave the Spanish champions in the summer after an underwhelming campaign.
Enrique, who represented Barca as a player from 1996 until 2004, took charge of the club's B team in 2011 before moving to Roma and then Celta Vigo at the start of the season.
According to Sport, should Enrique, who is the strong favourite, arrive in the hotseat this summer, Puyol will be asked to remain as his assistant, despite the centre-back not officially announcing his retirement.
