Marco Silva has described Watford forward Richarlison and Barcelona left-back Lucas Digne as "two possibilities" in terms of Everton transfers.
The Toffees are one of three Premier League clubs yet to make a single signing in the current transfer window, alongside Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur.
Silva was appointed as Everton boss in May after being sacked by Watford in January and, ahead of his first season at the helm of his new club, the Portuguese earmarked the two players as potential new recruits.
"There are two possibilities, I will not hide," Silva told Portuguese outlet Sport TV on Monday. "These are strong hypotheses.
"Richarlison is an excellent player and Digne is not by chance where he is. Hopefully [the deals can be done] - it's not easy."
The Brazil youth international underwent a medical at Finch Farm on Monday and is believed to be on the verge of joining the Merseysiders from Silva's old club.
