Pep Guardiola has admitted that he was impressed by what he witnessed from Bayern Munich in the 3-0 win over SV Darmstadt 98.
Darmstadt headed into the game unbeaten in the Bundesliga, but Bayern overcame a resilient home defence to collect three points thanks to goals from Arturo Vidal, Kingsley Coman and Sebastian Rode.
It was a result which pleased Guardiola, who was also delighted to bring Javi Martinez off the bench after the Spaniard's recovery from his latest injury setback.
"I am very, very happy," the Bayern boss told reporters. "We interpreted the game very well. We fought well.
"It's not easy to win here, especially after the Champions League. I am very happy for Javi Martínez following his return from injury. I really missed him this year."
Bayern will look to maintain their 100% record when they meet Wolfsburg on Tuesday night.
