Oldham Athletic manager Paul Dickov has insisted that he has not been approached by Blackburn Rovers regarding their vacant managerial job.
Dickov attended a match between the reserve sides of the two clubs on Wednesday and the former Manchester City striker believes that might have been what has created the speculation.
When asked about the link to the Blackburn job, Dickov said: "That is the first I have heard of it.
"Maybe they've put two and two together and got five because I was at Brockhall yesterday, I don't know."
Blackburn have been without a manager since Steve Kean resigned from the position last month.
