Bournemouth overcome Huddersfield Town

Bournemouth beat Huddersfield Town 2-1 in the Championship.

Bournemouth have beaten Huddersfield Town 2-1 at Dean Court in the Championship.

Lewis Grabban opened the scoring for the Cherries from the penalty spot after Tommy Smith brought down Danny Pugh inside the area in the second half.

Huddersfield were back in it on the hour mark when Calum Woods played a one-two with Nahki Wells before slotting it home.

The home side had their second when Tokelo Rantie finished off a move inside the near post.

Wells almost equalised late on when he went close with a rifled effort from a tight angle.
