Team News: Cardiff City, Bristol City unchanged for Severnside derby

Joe Ralls returns to an otherwise unchanged Cardiff City squad, while Bristol City also name the same XI who featured in their last outing.

Cardiff City have welcomed back Joe Ralls to their matchday squad for this evening's Severnside derby meeting against Bristol City.

The Bluebirds are otherwise unchanged, with Kenwyne Jones still missing out due to an injury picked up on international duty.

It is a similar story for the visitors, who themselves stick with the same XI from the 2-1 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion last time out.

There is no place in the Robins' squad for recent Wales call-up Wes Burns, though, as he misses out on the 18-man squad altogether.

Cardiff, who have won six of the last eight encounters between these two sides, can move within one point of the playoffs with victory this evening.

Cardiff City: Marshall; Peltier, Connolly, Morrison, Fabio; Noone, Gunnarsson, Dikgacoi, Whittingham; Mason, Revell
Subs: Moore, Malone, Tamas, O'Keefe, Pilkington, Ralls, Ameobi

Bristol City: Fielding; Bennett, Ayling, Flint, Baker; Williams, Smith, Pack, Freeman; Wilbraham, Kodjia
Subs: Hamer, Little, Reid, Bryan, Cox, Moore, Agard
