Cardiff City sign Sean Morrison from Reading

Sean Morrison becomes the second player to swap Reading for Cardiff this summer by signing a four-year contract with the Bluebirds, after an undisclosed fee was agreed.

Cardiff City have signed Sean Morrison from Championship rivals Reading for an undisclosed fee.

The central defender becomes Cardiff's second arrival of the day after Republic of Ireland international winger Anthony Pilkington joined from Norwich City.

Morrison has put pen to paper on a four-year contract and could be available to face Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

The 23-year-old follows striker Adam le Fondre in swapping the Royals for the Bluebirds this summer.

Morrison made 45 appearances for Reading in all competitions after debuting in 2011.
