Charlton Athletic have tied down midfielder Alou Diarra to a new contract that runs until the end of next season.
The 33-year-old former West Ham United man joined the Addicks on a short-term deal in February until the end of the season, but has impressed enough to earn an extended stay in South London.
"He is a versatile player - great in defence and important to our attack," Charlton boss Guy Luzon told the club website.
"He has worked very hard since he came here and I'm very, very pleased that we have secured him for at least another season."
Diarra has made six appearances in total for the Addicks and scored his first goal for the club in Friday's 2-1 defeat to Millwall.
