Bradley Wright-Phillips has joined the New York Red Bulls on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic, subject to international clearance.
The 28-year-old striker began his career at Manchester City before spells with Southampton, Plymouth Argyle and Brentford.
"We are delighted to sign him," Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh told the club's official website.
"He will certainly add another dimension to our roster with his pace and technical ability."
Wright-Phillips scored six goals in 38 games last season.
