Chelsea's Diego Costa not included in Spain squad

Diego Costa is left out of Spain's squad for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus due to his recent injury problems.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has not been named in Vicente del Bosque's latest Spain squad for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus.

The Brazilian-born forward has been struggling with hamstring and groin problems of late, and it appears that he has been taken out of contention as a precaution.

Manchester United's Juan Mata has failed to win his place in the national team, while Jesus Navas, who plays for Mata's Premier League rivals Manchester City, has also not been included.

Real Madrid star Isco has been named in the squad, alongside Nolito, Ignacio Camacho and Jose Callejon for Spain's clash against Belarus, which will be followed by an international friendly against world champions Germany.
