Adam Lallana aiming to spoil Chelsea title party

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is hoping to spoil Chelsea's title celebrations when his side travel to Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has expressed his desire to spoil Chelsea's title party when his side travel to Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Jose Mourinho's side clinched their first title since 2010 last Sunday as a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace handed them the league with three games to spare.

Lallana admitted that Chelsea deserve their success having led the way for the vast majority of the season, but is hopeful that the Reds can put a dampener on their celebrations this Sunday.

"Chelsea deserve to be champions. The table doesn't lie. They have been the best team throughout the season. You have to respect that," he told the club's official website.

"All I know is we want to go there and spoil the party. We're looking to go there and cause an upset and put a dent in their celebrations."

Liverpool currently sit four points behind the final Champions League place going into the last three matches of the campaign.
