Danny Wilson has reportedly agreed to take charge of Chesterfield.
The Spireites have been without a manager since Dean Saunders was sacked at the end of last month.
However, following a series of discussions, 55-year-old Wilson will officially be appointed to the Proact Stadium helm later today, according to Sky Sports News.
Wilson has been out of work since he departed Barnsley in February of this year.
He will inherit a side that currently sit 18th in League One, two points above the drop zone.
