Gareth Southgate is reportedly expected to hand debuts to three England players for Saturday's friendly against Switzerland.
With England particularly light in the wing-back positions, Southampton's Kyle Walker-Peters and Crystal Palace's Tyrick Mitchell have been included in the squad for the first time.
As rewarded for his performances in the centre of the Palace defence, Marc Guehi has also been called up by Southgate as he considers fresh faces ahead of the World Cup.
According to Sky Sports News, the trio are all expected to be named in the Three Lions XI for the meeting with the Swiss at Wembley Stadium.
With Walker-Peters and Mitchell more familiar with playing at full-back than wing-back, their selections would seem to suggest that Southgate will opt for a back four.
While Guehi and Walker-Peters have 25 Under-21 caps between them, Mitchell has not represented England at that level.
