Juventus are rarely threatened as they ease past Nordsjaelland with a 4-0 triumph.

Juventus have avoided a Champions League upset by beating Nordsjaelland 4-0 in Group E.

The Italian champions took control of the match immediately and opened the scoring in the sixth minute through Claudio Marchisio, who was able to finish easily from six yards following good work on the wing from Mauricio Isla.

Juventus enjoyed almost complete superiority during the first half and doubled their lead when Arturo Vidal found space in the corner of the box before rifling his shot into the roof of the net.

The hosts effectively ended the match as a contest before the break as Sebastian Giovinco added a third by collecting a pass from Andrea Pirlo and slotting the ball past Jesper Hansesn.

Juventus had chances to extend the lead after the break, with substitute Fabio Quagliarella heading over from close range.

However, Quagliarella did manage to find the net with his next chance, beating Hansen with a powerful header following good work from Alessandro Matri as Antonio Conte's side cruised to victory.
