Cristiano Ronaldo has suggested that he is relieved to have finally netted his first competitive goals for new club Juventus.
Ronaldo ended his long-term association with Real Madrid in the summer in order to link up with Juventus, but the Portugal international failed to open his account in his first three outings before the international break.
However, Ronaldo netted twice as Juventus beat Sassuolo on Sunday and the attacker has acknowledged that he had started to become slightly 'anxious' regarding his start to life in Turin.
The 33-year-old told Sky in Italy: "I'm very happy, I thank my teammates for helping me to adapt to the league. There was a bit of anxiety after my move from Real.
"The lack of goals? This is football, but winning is most important."
Juventus top the Serie A standings, having won each of their opening four games of the season.
