Leeds United boss Brian McDermott has admitted that he has "no idea" if he will be able to add to his squad before the start of the league season next weekend.
The former Reading manager has signed three players this summer, but it is believed that he is still keen to bring one more player to the club before August 3.
"I've got no idea. There's nothing to say on that at the moment. There's no point in saying things and saying nothing because that's all I'm doing. We've nothing to report," he told the Yorkshire Post.
"What I think is that we've got the players we've got. I'm happy to work with the players we've got because that's what I've got. There's no point talking about players I don't have. I've never done that in the past and I won't do it here."
