Luis Suarez and Martin Skrtel could decide to depart Anfield this summer after Liverpool's American owners slash the club's transfer budget.

Liverpool are said to be at risk of losing Luis Suarez and Martin Skrtel this summer as a result of their American owners' planned financial cuts.

Fenway Sports Group have slashed the transfer budget at Anfield following the Reds' failure to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Suarez has reportedly been targeted by Juventus boss Antonio Conte, while Skrtel is believed to have handed in a transfer request following the disappointing eighth-placed Premier League finish.

The club have offered the Uruguayan a new deal and are planning to hold talks with the Slovakian, but the owners' lack of short-term ambition in the transfer market is likely to dissuade the pair from remaining on Merseyside, according to The Mirror.
