Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson has heaped praise on teammate James Milner, claiming that he could even play in goal for Jurgen Klopp's side.
Milner has often deputised at left-back in Robertson's absence, and he did so again on Saturday as Liverpool edged closer towards a first Premier League title with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth at Anfield.
The 34-year-old made a last-gasp clearance to preserve Liverpool's lead in the second half, and Robertson has spoken highly of the Englishman's professionalism.
In quotes attributed to the Evening Standard, the Scotland international said: "How many positive words have we said about [Milner]. He could play in goal and probably give it his all and try to keep a clean sheet for us.
"He can play any position. When he goes into left-back or right-back or whatever he shows how good a player he is and how good a professional he is. He did that on Saturday again."
Milner has made 209 appearances for the Reds since joining from Manchester City in 2015, scoring 26 goals.
Liverpool will welcome Atletico Madrid to Anfield on Wednesday for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash with Diego Simeone's side.
