Napoli have completed the signing of rumoured Liverpool target Piotr Zielinski for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old had been heavily linked with a move to Anfield during the current transfer window, with reports earlier in the summer claiming that he had chosen the Reds over Napoli.
However, the Poland international has now completed his switch to Napoli, joining from fellow Serie A outfit Udinese.
Zielinski joined Udinese in 2011 but failed to work his way into the first team on a regular basis and spent the last two years on loan at Empoli.
The midfielder, who scored five goals in 63 appearances during his two seasons with Empoli, was also part of Poland's squad for this summer's European Championships in France.
