Swansea City are reportedly considering a loan move for Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke during the January transfer window.

Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Swansea City.

During the summer, Solanke left Chelsea to move to Anfield, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp suggesting that the England Under-21 international would gain regular first-team action.

However, Solanke has been limited to 85 minutes in the Premier League, with his only start coming in an EFL Cup defeat to Leicester City in September.

According to Wales Online, Swansea head coach Paul Clement could look to take advantage of the situation by offering Solanke - who he knows from his coaching spell at Stamford Bridge earlier in his career - a chance to gain more minutes in the top flight during the second half of the campaign.

The Welsh club have struggled for goals this season, with just seven strikes coming from 13 games in the Premier League, and Clement must address the situation at the start of 2018.

If Solanke makes the temporary switch to the Liberty Stadium, he would link up with former Chelsea teammate Tammy Abraham.
