Preview: Manchester City vs. Blackburn Rovers

Sports Mole looks ahead to tonight's FA Cup third-round replay at the Etihad between Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers.

Blackburn Rovers will be looking to cause a huge upset and knock 2011 FA Cup winners Manchester City out when they play their third-round replay at the Etihad this evening.

Gary Bowyer's side pulled off one of the best results of the third round by holding Premier League title chasers City to a 1-1 draw at Ewood Park.

That day Rovers top scorer Jordan Rhodes started on the bench and Bowyer must again decide whether to risk his star player in a game that looks almost impossible to win given City's 100% home league record this season.

City manager Manuel Pellegrini should make a number of changes from the side who beat Newcastle United at the weekend given the deep squad at his disposal.

The hosts' Argentine striker Sergio Aguero is also expected to be named in the squad after a month on the sidelines because of a calf injury.

The winner will next face Watford at home in the fourth round.
