Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday night's Premier League clash with Burnley at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City will be looking to make it two wins from two since the Premier League suspension when they welcome Burnley to the Etihad Stadium on Monday night.

Pep Guardiola's side cruised past Arsenal in the first night of action back after lockdown, with goals from Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden earning them a 3-0 win over the 10-man Gunners.

That result ensured that Man City will still be champions for Monday's meeting with Burnley, although should Liverpool keep winning too then this match would be City's last before being deposed.

The one downside from Wednesday's win was a concerning injury for 19-year-old defender Eric Garcia, who required lengthy treatment on the field following a collision with Ederson. Garcia was given oxygen before being carried off in a neck brace and will undergo tests to determine the full extent of the problem.

John Stones missed the Arsenal match after picking up an ankle injury in training, but Guardiola has confirmed that he is at the "end of his recovery", suggesting that he could be in contention against Burnley.
