Manuel Pellegrini: 'Joe Hart a future captain of Manchester City and England'

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini insists that goalkeeper Joe Hart has the required qualities to captain both his club and the England side in the future.

Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini has backed goalkeeper Joe Hart to one day become the skipper of both his club and the England side.

Hart recently stood in for the Three Lions with the captain's armband, and Pellegrini has since insisted that the stopper has the potential and personality to lead out City in the future too.

"Joe has a lot of personality to be a captain, not only for England, but also for City," said Pellegrini, according to The Mirror.

"For me, Joe has improved a lot. It is because he is a player that likes to work. He is a player who knows he has important mistakes to improve on."

Hart's City side recently fell to a surprise 4-1 defeat at home to Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.
