Manchester City to replace Danilo with Juventus defender Joao Cancelo?

Manchester City are reportedly prepared to replace versatile full-back Danilo with Juventus defender Joao Cancelo.

Manchester City have reportedly opened talks with Juventus regarding the potential signing of defender Joao Cancelo.

The Portugal international had his pick of Premier League sides last summer, but the right-back instead opted to move to Turin having previously represented Inter Milan.

The 25-year-old made a total of 33 appearances during the most recent campaign, which included 27 starts in Serie A and the Champions League.

However, according to Goal.com, Juventus are entertaining the possibility of selling the player, with City seemingly prepared to pay £44m.

Any deal would allow City to part ways with Danilo, who has been restricted to just 22 starts in England's top flight during his two campaigns at the Etihad Stadium.
