Manchester United and Barcelona are among the clubs interested in Roma's sporting director Monchi, according to a report.
Monchi enjoys a good reputation in football, having helped Sevilla to become a force in Europe with his transfer activities before moving to Roma.
However, the Spaniard has been criticised in some quarters for his dealings in the Italian capital, having sold Alisson Becker, Radja Nainggolan and Kevin Strootman since his arrival.
Nevertheless, Gazzetta dello Sport reports that four of Europe's biggest clubs are interested in prising him away from the Stadio Olimpico.
United, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are all understood to be keen on adding Monchi to their backroom staff.
Monchi reportedly has a double clause in his contract at Roma which allows either a one-year extension to his current four-year deal or for him to leave the club for an agreed fee.
