Phil Neville praises Manchester United's "great effort"

Manchester United first-team coach Phil Neville reveals his delight with back-to-back league away wins over the Christmas period.

Manchester United first-team coach Phil Neville has praised the Premier League champions' effort following their 1-0 win over Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Danny Welbeck's second-half strike handed United all three points at Carrow Road just two days after beating Hull City 3-2 at the KC Stadium.

The back-to-back victories have moved the club into sixth spot in the table, just two points off fourth-place Liverpool, who travel to Chelsea tomorrow afternoon.

"Hard fought victory-2 away wins in 48 hours great effort from the boys!! Spurs news years day now!!!" Neville tweeted.

United have now won their last four league games in a row.
