Barcelona expect Ousmane Dembele to join either Manchester United or Juventus on a free transfer, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly expecting Ousmane Dembele to join either Manchester United or Juventus on a free transfer this summer.

The France international's contract at Camp Nou is due to expire at the end of June, and Barcelona have thus far been unsuccessful in their attempts to sign him to an extension.

Man United have been strongly linked with the World Cup winner in recent months, while Juventus are said to have a long-standing interest in his services.

According to Sport, Barcelona are expecting one of the two clubs to sign the 24-year-old on a free transfer when his contract at Camp Nou expires.

The report claims that Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain had both been showing an interest, but the pair have now pulled out of the race due to concerns over his fitness levels and wage demands.

Dembele, who arrived at Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in August 2017, has scored once and provided two assists in 11 appearances at club level during the 2021-22 campaign.
