Manchester United want to sign both Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to new contracts at Old Trafford, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly keen to sign both Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to new contracts at Old Trafford.

Lindelof's existing deal with the 20-time English champions is due to expire next June, but the club have the option to extend the agreement for a further 12 months.

Wan-Bissaka, meanwhile, also only has a deal at Old Trafford until June 2024, but like with Lindelof, there is an option to extend the contract for another year.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Man United view Lindelof as "part of the project in the present and future", so discussions are likely to take place "as soon as possible".

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are allegedly keen to sign Wan-Bissaka to a long-term deal rather than activate a further 12 months, with the former Crystal Palace youngster proving himself after a tough start under head coach Erik ten Hag.

"With Lindelof, 100%. They want Lindelof to be part of the project in the present and future, so I'm sure they will try to proceed as soon as possible," Romano told GIVEMESPORT.

"At the moment, a new deal for Wan-Bissaka is still being discussed because they wanted to offer him a long-term contract and not just trigger the option.

"It is similar to what they did with Diogo Dalot less than a year ago. They had a chance to trigger the option, but they decided to offer him a longer contract. The conversations are ongoing with Wan-Bissaka."

Lindelof has been a regular for Man United this season, featuring on 18 occasions in all competitions, scoring once and providing one assist in the process.

Wan-Bissaka, meanwhile, has made 14 appearances, providing two assists in the process.

The 26-year-old was an unused substitute in the recent Premier League matches with Chelsea, Bournemouth and Liverpool, but he has played the full 90 minutes in his side's last two league outings with West Ham United and Aston Villa.

Fellow right-back Dalot was suspended for the clash with the Hammers and was then needed to play left-back against Villa due to an injury for Luke Shaw.

Anthony Martial, Hannibal Mejbri, Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton also only have contracts until next June, while on-loan duo Sofyan Amrabat and Sergio Reguilon, as it stands, will return to parent clubs Fiorentina and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
