Diogo Dalot, restricted to just two first-team appearances since joining Manchester United in the summer, is reportedly about to be given a run of games.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to give summer signing Diogo Dalot a run in the first team.

The 19-year-old has been used just twice since arriving at Old Trafford from Porto in a £19m transfer five months ago.

Dalot has struggled with an injury carried over from his time with Porto and is back on the sidelines with a separate problem sustained during the last international break.

According to the Manchester Evening News, however, the Portugal Under-21s international is nearly back to full fitness and Mourinho is finally ready to unleash the right-back.

Dalot's two appearances this term came against Young Boys in the Champions League and Derby County in the EFL Cup.
