Premier League giants want Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz?

Four clubs in the Premier League reportedly join the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for a quartet of Premier League clubs.

The 20-year-old is regarded as one of the top prospects in German football having already contributed 30 goals from 107 appearances for Leverkusen.

A future transfer away from the Bundesliga club is considered inevitable, leaving the playmaker with his pick of options over the next 12 months.

According to Sport1, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are all monitoring the situation ahead of a big-money approach at some point over the next 12 months.

The report adds that Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid have been admirers for longer, with the report adding that Barca could be Havertz's preference.

Metro claims that Leverkusen value their most prized asset at £91m.
