Roma are reportedly lining up a summer move for Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly.
The Ivory Coast international was linked with a loan move away from Old Trafford in January, but the transfer window closed with the defender still at the club.
Bailly has only made seven appearances for Man United this season and has not featured for the Red Devils since December, having returned from international duty with an ankle problem.
The defender is back in training ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Leeds United, but he is down the pecking order when it comes to the starting centre-back positions.
According to Il Romanista, Roma are determined to sign a new centre-back ahead of next season and have identified Bailly as a leading target.
The report claims that the Italian outfit are ready to explore the possibility of signing the 27-year-old on loan with the option to make the move permanent.
Bailly, who has also been linked with AC Milan, still has more than two years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, having signed an extension with the club in April 2021.
