Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks with an ankle injury.
The Dutchman missed Saturday's 1-0 defeat at West Ham United after suffering the problem in training.
Magpies manager Alan Pardew told reporters on Monday that the shot-stopper would be sidelined until January.
The 26-year-old has made 13 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
Newcastle are back in action on Tuesday night when they make the trip to Burnley in the Premier League.
