Former Celtic and England striker Chris Sutton has questioned whether Gary Hooper's move to Norwich City will help his international career.
Hooper revealed earlier today that one of the main reasons he joined Norwich was to boost his chances of being called up for the national team.
However, Sutton, who began his career at Norwich, believes that Celtic are a bigger club than the Canaries and does not think that Hooper will get as many chances to shine at Carrow Road.
"I don't know - it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. I'm not being disrespectful but Celtic are a bigger club," he told reporters.
"He won't get as many chances down there as he would up here. But that's his choice. He has chosen to go down there.
"It's a real good signing for Norwich but I don't know if it would enhance his England chances or not."
Sutton scored 86 goals in 199 appearances for Celtic and also won one cap for England in 1997.
