Palermo have rehired Giuseppe Sannino as their new coach for the rest of the season.
The 55-year-old replaces Gian Piero Gasperini, who was sacked on Monday following the Rosanero's 2-1 home defeat to Siena in Serie A on Sunday.
That loss left Palermo second from bottom in the table, leading club president Maurizio Zamparini to fire Gasperini for the second time this season.
The former Inter Milan coach himself came in as a replacement for Sannino in September but was sacked in February only to be reinstated just 19 days later.
Sannino was appointed the Palermo coach in June 2012 but was fired in September after collecting just one point in three Serie A matches.
