Highly-rated midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak has insisted that he never considered leaving Sevilla, having been linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer.
The 25-year-old put pen to paper on a new three-and-a-half-year deal on Friday, committing himself to the Primera Division side until 2019.
The Poland international reportedly courted interest from the Gunners in recent months, but Krychowiak - who helped them to Europa League glory last season - insists that he only has eyes for the Rojiblancos.
"I'm happy and proud. The most important thing was to continue with Sevilla, I'm not interested in another club," he told Sevilla's official website.
"We started talking a little while ago, it's a process that requires some time, but the important thing is that both the club and myself are happy.
"I've had the chance to play in Europe, to win my first cup. When I go onto the pitch I want to give 100 per cent because I know this is a great club."
Krychowiak joined Unai Emery's side for £3m from Reims in July 2014.
