Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has criticised the club for their refusal to allow him to leave.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has been trying to move on since falling behind Brad Friedel and Hugo Lloris in the pecking order at White Hart Lane.
However, the stopper claimed that Spurs are looking to recoup a large amount for him, something which he feels is hindering his chances of a transfer.
He told the London Evening Standard: "I am ready to go to Germany. Hoffenheim wanted to buy me permanently but Tottenham blocked the move for financial questions. I always tried to leave but Tottenham have never helped me.
"I often tried to leave Tottenham but they have always stopped me going. It has not been possible to leave.
"I had several proposals but they were insufficient for the club. It's very complicated. They want to recover the £8m they invested in me five years ago."
Gomes also revealed that he has offers from clubs back in his homeland.
