Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he hopes to be back sooner than expected following minor heart surgery.
The 64-year-old was told that he would have to rest for five weeks after he went under the knife to unblock his arteries at the beginning of the month.
"Obviously it's extremely frustrating staying away and being stuck at home and, as much as I'm anxious to come back, it wouldn't be fair to disrespect the specialist who is advising me," said Redknapp.
"I'm fairly confident I will return earlier than they anticipated.
"I feel fine within myself and I'm successfully driving everyone mad at home."
Spurs return to Premier League action on Monday, November 21 at home to Aston Villa.
