Manchester City open to Joao Cancelo exit?

Manchester City are reportedly willing to let right-back Joao Cancelo leave the club this summer, just one season after he arrived from Juventus.

Manchester City are reportedly willing to let right-back Joao Cancelo leave the club this summer, just one season after he arrived from Juventus.

Cancelo cost City £27m plus Danilo in the summer of 2019 but has struggled to impress, making seven Premier League starts.

According to the Daily Mail, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich are considering a summer swoop for the Portugal international, with City valuing him at £60m.

Tottenham Hotspur were reportedly interested in a January move for the 25-year-old but failed to finalise a deal.

The report adds that Cancelo is also considering his long-term future and has a young family that he is taking into account.

Cancelo has made 16 appearances for the Portugal national team since his debut in 2016, scoring three goals.
