Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly moved to reopen contract discussions with Japhet Tanganga.
Since the arrival of Jose Mourinho in October, Tanganga has established himself as an important member of the first-team squad.
The 20-year-old has recently been handed six starts, with the academy graduate helping Spurs to clean sheets against Watford and Manchester City in the Premier League.
According to the Daily Mail, club officials are ready to reward his current influence with a new long-term deal which includes a 1,500% pay rise.
The report claims that the Englishman stands to earn £15,000 per week - a substantial increase to his current £1,000 wage packet.
Spurs are said to be hopeful of reaching an agreement in the near future.
