Stoke City have offered veteran goalkeeper Carlo Nash a contract extension at the club.
Nash, 38, is currently third choice keeper at the Britannia behind Thomas Sorensen and Asmir Begovic and is considering his future with the Potters.
Nash hinted towards uncertainty over where he would be next season on Twitter, saying: "Had another mammoth fitness session. This should stand me in good stead for pre-season, wherever that may be."
However, Stoke director of football John Rudge revealed that they are keen to keep the shot-stopper.
"We have offered Carlo a contract," Rudge told the Stoke Sentinel.
"He would like to be playing, but he is a good type who has done well for us while he has been here.
"We hope he stays because he is an experienced player who gives us a good battle for places."
Nash is currently in his second spell at Stoke, but has made just one first team appearance since rejoining the club in 2010.
