Napoli and Switzerland midfielder Gokhan Inler has admitted that the aim for his country at next summer's World Cup will be to reach the second round.
Inler said that Switzerland - who were seeded for the draw and are in a group containing Ecuador, France and Honduras - were already considering the World Cup a success, so getting any further would be a bonus.
"We played well in the qualification and we were seeded in the World Cup draw," Inler told The Hard Tackle. "This alone is already a success for us.
"Of course, we also want to show our football at the World Cup. Our first goal is to reach the next stage, then we'll see."
Switzerland have reached the quarter-finals three times in their history.
