Joe Gallen wants to entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers fans

Wolves assistant coach Joe Gallen reveals that the team are eager to entertain fans this season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers assistant coach Joe Gallen has revealed that the team are aiming to play entertaining football for the fans this season.

Wolves currently sit in eighth place in the Championship table after gaining promotion from League One last term.

Gallen hopes that supporters are enjoying the brand of football that is on show at Molineux as the Midlands club looks to challenge for the playoffs.

"We want to play good football, we want to play out from the back, we want to play through the thirds," he told the Birmingham Mail. "We don't want to just get the ball down and knock it forwards in a straight line.

"That's the way to do it, that's the way we want to go. We feel that the fans enjoy the football that we're playing. Consistency is going to be the key; playing poorly and picking up a point, playing poorly and picking up a win is going to be important."

Wolves are back in Championship action on Saturday when they travel to Millwall.
